Season 4, Episode 13: Staycation Inspiration

What is a “staycation?” Well, perhaps you don’t have a whole week or even a weekend to get away…or maybe the old wallet is a little light these days. This is the perfect time to take your gang on a STAYCATION. Find those places that may be in your back yard, or as far as even ten miles away, that you’re always too busy to check out. Happi and her crew are headed to Wild Rumpus, an area book store that is truly a site to behold. Cats live there? Okay. Chickens? You bet! Then the group heads to the lake where they get a tour of The Minnehaha, a steamboat that was built in 1905 and was once part of the Minneapolis streetcar system. Than Happi and her crew head visit a quirky ice cream shop called Lick’s Unlimited, and then head over to Country Club Lanes, for one of the most fun activities for all ages: bowling! When you have time off of work and school, there’s no need to find an airport! Check out unique shops and restaurants that you’ve never been to in your town. Go on a mission…create a scavenger hunt…make a list of things to see and do. Make the most of your time with friends and family. We hope you get some ideas from today’s episode of The Happi House!
