Season 3, Episode 14: Easy Chair Re-Do, Kids Science Card Trick, and Minnehaha Falls

We’re inside. We’re outside. We’re all over…today on The Happi House. First off, Happi is back at one of her favorite places: Mama’s Happy. Owner Amanda Ficek is showing Happi how she can completely redo the tired look of an old favorite chair. And it rhymes with “chalk paint.” Okay, it IS chalk paint! You’re not going to believe how easy and inexpensive this project is. Next, we’re in the backyard with “The Kitchen Pantry Scientist” Liz Heinecke, who is showing a young scientist friend how atmospheric pressure works. Her tools: a plastic cup, some water and a deck of cards! Science + magic = fun! And finally, we’re slowing it all down. Happi knows when you get a beautiful day in Minnesota, you take advantage of it! So Happi is bringing her son Chandler and his pal Emerson along on a fieldtrip to the beautiful Minnehaha Regional Park. This lovely jewel of a park features a 53 ft. waterfall, and attracts more than 850,000 visitors each year. Oh, and do you know what “mocking” is? Tune in to find out!
