Rose Bath Bomb

makes 4 cupcake size bombs

  • 1/2 c baking soda
  • 1/4 c citric acid
  • 1/4 c corn starch or arrowroot powder
  • 1/4 c Epsom salts
  • 1 tsp oil of choice (olive, almond, jojoba)
  • 8 drops rose essential oil
  • 1/2 tsp rose water, witch hazel or plain water. Have extra in a spray bottle
  • Food coloring (optional)

Directions

Combine dry ingredients into a bowl, whisking to remove lumps.
Combine wet ingredients in a small dish
Add wet mixture to dry ingredients. It will start to fizz. Whisk all together quickly to stop the chemical reaction. Continue to spray additional liquid, a few sprays at a time to the mixture, while whisking together until it forms a clump when squeezed.
Pack firmly into mold. Dry for 12 hours.

Lavender Oatmeal Bath Bomb

makes 4 cupcake size bombs

  • 1/2 c baking soda

  • 1/4 c quick oats (ground into a fine powder using a coffee mill or food processor)
  • 1/4 c sea salts
  • 1 tsp oil of choice (olive, almond, jojoba)
  • 8 drops lavender essential oil
  • 1/2 tsp lavender water, witch hazel or plain water. Have extra in a spray bottle
  • Food coloring (optional)

Directions

Combine dry ingredients into a bowl, whisking to remove lumps.
Combine wet ingredients in a small dish.
