The Happi House recently went on a journey to the incredible country of Thailand, and visited the Mae Tao Clinic, which provides health care to displaced people on the Thai-Burmese border. The hospital is based in the border town of Mae Sot, 300 miles northwest of Bangkok, and serves approximately 150,000 people. Free health care is provided for refugees, migrant workers and other individuals who cross the border from Burma to Thailand.
